Dr Idorenyin Charles

Founding Director
Dr. Idorenyin Charles Itauma, known as “Dr. Idee”, is an Urgent Care Clinician working with the NHS. She graduated as a Medical Doctor from Nigeria, and later pursued postgraduate studies in Scotland, earning a Master’s degree in Occupational Medicine (MSc) from the University of Aberdeen and an NHS Leadership certification.

With over 17 years of experience in Accident and Emergency and extensive expertise in Acute Medicine, she worked across various specialties including critical care, Rehabilitation Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology, Acute Stroke care, and Elderly care Medicine. She has worked across multiple Emergency Departments in the UK (including the Manchester Foundation Trust Senior Emergency Training Programme) and Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, and she is currently an Associate Specialist in the Urgent Care unit of the Lincolnshire Community Hospital Trust.

She provides overall leadership for The Health Gospel

Director
Emmanuel is a Clinical Scientist, with industry and hospital experience. He has worked across a number of NHS organisations in various capacities; including leading research and innovation.  He is passionate about transforming health equity for  underserved communities. He is also a health equity fellow. He provides administrative, governance and compliance steering for the organisation. 


Emily Carter

Director
Emily has a degree in Counselling. She is an experienced administrator, and has lots of experience working for the National Health Service (NHS). She leds The Health Gospel’s Compassionate Hub – which is a community-focused initiative, which is part of our wraparound service aimed at providing a culturally-balanced approach to mental health.


Faith Kamupita

Project Co-ordinator
Faith has a background in the Humanities and Governance. In her role, she provides planning, oversight and data management for our programmes and activities. Faith is particularly passionate about young people – she is responsible for all activities related to the young persons who are part of our community. She enjoys work that impacts and uplift people to become the best version of themselves.
