Black History Month event was held at the YMCA event hall on the 21st October, 2023
The theme of this years Black History Month is “Saluting our sisters”
While we took out time to celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of Black women to the British history
We also took time to celebrate “Migration and resilience” and the challenges that come with migration

We celebrated out culture, fashion and there as display of dance, music and food
The Deputy Mayor Councillor Stephen Beasant was in attendance

The Health Gospel provides a safe space to support people struggling with religious, cultural and emotional trauma.

For the above to happen, we recruit and train volunteers as advisors, advocates and support people in need of our services.
